From Orlando to the Gulf Coast, Florida teems with opportunities for all ages and your interests will be well catered for. The wonders of Disneyworld, the technology of Kennedy Space Centre, the vast choice of other theme parks, internationally renowned golf courses and the marvellous beaches are all within comfortable travelling distance. Here is a brief guide of some of the popular activities.

If this is your first visit to Central Florida then concentrate on the major theme parks, they are incredible and will keep you entertained for weeks.
If you've been before then why not expand your horizons a little and visit the Gulf and Atlantic coasts or some of the many natural attractions of Central Florida.
Disney Magic Kingdom
A never, never land of fantasy where you can meet Mickey Mouse and his friends, Board a Jungle Cruise, take a ride on Big Thunder Mountain's runaway train or travel Space Mountain, a high speed roller coaster with a difference. Then take your place for the afternoon's showpiece, the Main Street Parade the World's most colourful procession, and remember not to miss the spectacular firework display held every night.
Disney Epcot Centre

Travel around the globe visiting 11 countries at the World showcase. At the end of the day watch the sky explode with a spectacular laser and fireworks display.
Disney MGM Studios
Lights! Camera! Action! Your chance to go behind the scenes to see how Disney movies and cartoons are made. Join the fun and excitement of thrilling attractions such as the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular, the new Tower of Terror and the Great Movie Ride.
Disney Animal Kingdom
See the animals in re-creations of their natural countries. Visit Africa, Asia and other native habitats. Take a safari trip or ride the white-water rapids. Take the train to the backroom lot where the animals are really cared for. The lions bite!
Sea World
Have a close encounter with sharks and other marine creatures at the World's largest marine park. See threatened species such as the Florida manatee, giant sea turtles and dolphins. Marvel at the grace and beauty of Shamu the killer whale in the new Shamu Visions presentation or take a simulated helicopter ride to the latest attraction, Wild Artic.
Universal Studios
See the stars and ride the movies at the number one movie studio and theme park in the world. Escape the Kong- frontation on the streets of New York, survive Earthquake in San Francisco or take a bike ride with a difference in the ET adventure .... and don't miss 'Jaws' the 3 ton, 28 foot long Great White Shark in the new Jaws spectacular.
Wet 'N Wild
Dive into 25 acres of watery fun at Wet 'N Wild, with giant slides, tunnels, corkscrews and water toboggans. Experience the Black Hole and Bombay, the heart stopping drop followed by an explosive splashdown. Children will enjoy the playground, complete with smaller versions of the Park's most thrilling rides.
Busch Gardens
An ingenious mix of adventure rides and safari park. Witness the largest concentration of exotic animals in the South Eastern United States. Enjoy the thrills and excitement of the Congo River Rapids, the Tanganyika Tidal Wave, or the largest and fastest roller coaster in Florida, the Kumba.
Kennedy Space Centre
An absolute must for the space age enthusiast. Live the dream of manned space exploration, visit the launch site for the Space Shuttle and many of the Apollo lunar missions, plus an array of rockets and even a Space Shuttle itself.
Gatorland
See the jumping jaws at the exciting Gator lumparoo Show. This alligator capital of the world features over 5,000 alligators and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of other animals, birds and reptiles.

Silver Springs
A chance to see the 'real' Florida of wonderous forests and gushing springs. Take the jeep safari, or the glass bottom boat ride. See Florida's alligators in their natural habitat, plus animals from 6 continents.

Pleasure Island
Evening entertainment Disney style. Celebrate New Year's Eve every night of the year in the imaginatively themed nightclubs, restaurants and shops. Choose from 40's dancing, Jazz, Country and Western or Disco, or sit back and enjoy the Comedy Warehouse or movies from the Touchstone Walt Disney Studios.

Blizzard Beach
The latest Disney Water Park themed on a Ski Resort. Take a ski lift to the world's longest Water Ride.

Medieval Times
Banquet type dinner show with medieval entertainment by King Arthur in his castle.

Universal Island Adventure
New in 1999 and Universal’s answer to the Magic Kingdom. More themed rides including roller-coasters. Another full day visit is recommended.

Arabian Nights
Dinner with spectacular horse show. Don't miss this family evening.

Disney River Country
Water park on a lake themed on the Tom Sawyer stories. Billed as the true American adventure.

Wild Bill
Wild West Side Show featuring Buffalo Bill and is wild west friends. Singing, dancing and plenty of food and refreshments.

Cocoa Beach
World famous beach near Cape Kennedy on the Atlantic coast. It’s where the astronauts hang out.

King Henry's Feast
King Henry will wine and dine you till you are singing and dancing in his regal palace. This is a great family attraction that you soon won't forget.

Seaworld - Discovery Cove
Imagine a day of snorkeling in a 1.3 million gallon reef that is stocked with 10,000 species of tropical fish and within inches of black tip sharks and barracudas. This is SeaWorlds newest Adventure park.

Disney's All American BBQ
Enjoy a dinner with all of your favorite Disney characters. An old fashioned, western style dinner show that includes all kinds of stunts, sing songs and dancing. Just like an old fashioned wild west cook out under the gigantic picnic shelter at Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground.

Typhoon Lagoon
This Disney water park is a delightful water paradise where you can snorkel with tropical fish and sharks, relax on sunny beaches or ride five foot waves in the lagoon. Experience the thrilling chutes and slides or plummet from great heights down the flumes.

Cypress Gardens
Wind your way through 8,000 varieties of beautifully planted tropical gardens. Visit Wings of Wonder, the Butterfly Conservatory, which is filled with the most beautiful live butterflies from around the world. Enjoy live entertainment and special performances throughout the day, this is truly a walk through nature you will never forget.
